Leather selection

To find the perfect leather for golf iron covers, Elteed conducted rigorous testing on various hides, thicknesses, finishes, and bonding methods. We selected a premium natural leather that offers the highest durability and can be specially treated to resist water and stains.

The interior remains soft and natural, while the exterior is treated with a water-resistant finish. Whether it's rain or soil on the course, a quick wipe keeps your covers looking brand new and perfectly shaped.

Design

After months of user testing and dozens of prototypes, Elteed has perfected two distinct designs—Standard and Extended—engineered to fit a wide range of iron shapes and sizes.

Standard: A sleek, minimalist design that follows the natural silhouette of the iron while providing full coverage.
Extended: A unique, iron-shaped design stitches with more relaxed fit designed for thicker irons.

Both the Standard and Extended versions are officially registered and protected, guaranteeing an original design exclusive to Elteed.

Handmade excellence

Elteed iron covers are hand-stitched by master artisans using premium 6-ply thread—a high-strength, heavy-duty thread rarely found in standard leather accessories.

Each stitch hole is precisely pre-punched, uniform intervals before our experts meticulously sew every piece by hand. This process ensures perfectly aligned, straight, and incredibly durable seams, delivering a level of perfection that far surpasses mass-produced alternatives.

Hook-and-loop mechanism

We tested various attachment methods—including magnets, rivets, and buttons—to find the best user experience. Magnets often caused covers to stick to the clubs or each other, while rivets and buttons proved cumbersome for frequent use.

Hook-and-loop fastener emerged as the ideal solution, maintaining our sleek design while providing a secure hold. It allows for a fast, effortless release—just a light pull, and your iron is ready.

To ensure premium quality, Elteed uses top-tier reclosable fastener from 3M and leading Korean manufacturers, engineered to minimize fraying or tangling even after long-term use.
